Quote:
Dwell not upon thy
weariness, thy strength shall be according to the measure of thy desire.
Arab Proverb
Scriptures:
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men
shall utterly fall.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:30, 31
My Thoughts:
In times of stressful situations that become difficult and
impossible for us to deal with and overcome, we seek God for his intervention
to give us the power to withstand. When we are confronted by our enemies whose
purpose is to destroy us, we face the battle unafraid. If we should become weak from the battle, God
gives us power to continue to fight. And
to those who are on our side that will at some point during the battle, become
discouraged and feel like giving up, God increase their strength.
Scripture:
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might
he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 40:29
No weapon that is formed against us shall prosper; and every
tongue that riseth against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the
LORD, and their judgment is of me said the LORD. Isaiah 54:17
